I worked with a girl who sold it and I used the mask, face scrub, and lotions.

So, marlene, what did you think?

Juanita, it was cheaper than what I was paying at the cosmetic counter. I liked the mask. And there was something that smelled like almonds. That was good too. I think it was the scrub. That was two years ago.

so ladies i'm wondering if there is a call for product down here,i'm thinking of maybe starting to go after sales as a way to generate some extra income,i met about 5 women in omaha this past summer that had gotten their mercedes suv's for reaching regional, i have all the catalogs, samples and websites everything i need to get statrted again, i was doing ok in omaha, but when i came home at the end of october i just put everything away in order to concentrate on "season" in the hotels and now season's done and i need to do something. and no i'm not trying to sell anything here, at this point i'm doing research on "need" and looking for feedback

trw,
Good morning. Do you know any successful Avon reps or Mary Kay reps? Successful is a relative term here. Maybe someone making an extra $50 a month is good for them, or maybe it's their career. Both of those companies have products I really like, but I don't buy them unless they are put in front of me. Also, I think shopping online, and via TV has probably taken a toll on this type of home based business. I have an idea, though. If you were to sell at vendor type events, ie, the starving artist sale, or at the botanical gardens when they do events, stuff like that, and hand out product catalogues, maybe you could build up a market. I would definitely buy some of that olive oil shower scrub I mentioned. So....did I say yes or no? I really can't tell. Glad I could help, ha ha!

yeah Juanita i completly agree with you and the "events" would be the place i'd go to, i don't know, i like the stuff but like any home based business you have to bust your butt to succeed, those women i met in omaha were just driven women and they wanted that success,i mean these women were/are makeing anywhere from 5 grand to 40 grand a month, my stepmom probally does around 1000 a month,i'm honestly just trying to figure out how ambitious i want to be LOL, for alot of women this is their job, almost all of the ladies i met are stay at home moms with teenagers,i don't know i just want to try something different for a change,in addition to what i already do, the men i met in omaha were involved in this because their wives were.
