Have to move out by the end of this month and am looking for short term until I can find something longer. Efficiency, 1 br, cottage, house sitting, anything. Budget is also very tight as I'm looking for work, too. $500-$600/mo. Post or PM.

You could try to PM Alexandra, and danieljude . I know they both sometimes have short term rentals available.

I looked for Alexandra but couldn't find a post from her on the search link. Dan is my current landlord and is no longer in the property rental business. Got a PM last night and may have a short term possibility. Also searching the posts, papers, Schooner Bay Market, you name it. I will also do handyman work if anyone needs it in exchange for a place to live. Was a homeowner for over thirty years so handyman stuff is second nature.
A great feeling to know the people on this board and the friends I've met here are so nice and giving.
