Hi:
I sold my car, and need to rent one while I'm there Feb, March, April.
I thought maybe someone will be off island during that time and may not be using their's

Rental car agencies have monthly rental rates.
A private individual renting their personal vehicle will have issues with their insurance and liability.
What would happen if you had an accident, injured yourself or someone else and totaled/damaged the car you are renting or some other person's car?
Not a good idea, in my opinion.
