Does anyone know of a good rental on STT?

Hi my husband and I have lived here since February and are currently living on the East End. My husband is professionally employed here on STT.

While we enjoy living here, our apartment is way too hot (even with 2 AC units). We have a terrific landlord and the apartment is nice, brand-new, very clean and spacious, but it is poorly designed and has virtually no cross ventilation whatsoever. Our short-term lease expires in August.

We plan on buying a house once we find the right thing and once our house in the states sells, but we do not want to be forced to rush into anything just because we are not happy with our current living situation. Therefore, we have decided to look for another place to rent. We would prefer to do a short-term (6 month) lease or a month-to-month lease, but we are willing to sign a one-year lease, if the rental suits our needs.

I am currently in the process of looking at anything and everything and am open to all suggestions.

Here is what we absolutely require:

1) A place that is clean

2) A place that is well-kept (old/older is not a problem if well-maintained)

3) A place that will allow us to have our one, indoor, declawed, well-behaved, immaculately clean, cat.

4) A place with a view.

5) A place with great breezes/ventilation

Here is what we would really, really like:

1) 2-4 bedrooms and 1.5-2 bathrooms, (but this is not an absolute requirement for us).

If anyone knows of anything, please PM me. I am considering all options. We are solid, stable, and dependable and would be happy to provide references if need be.

Thanks :),
Mell

Bump

I have a few really good leads, but we are still looking and evaluating all of our options.

We are easygoing, low maintenance tenants and our current place has many advantages, BUT it is just too hot.

When I say hot, I mean 91 degrees at 10:00 at night in the rooms that don't have AC (living room, dining room and kitchen).

Please PM me, if you know of anything -- even if it is not immediately available. As I said before, we are considering all possibilities.
