My big old dog friend passed on last week so I have a new 7 month old pup. Well, I'm kind of broke with all of the extra expenses and my puppy ate a door while I was at the beach today. I need to crate train him. Does anyone have a large size airline kennel or dog crate they are not using or will sell cheap? 227 7021

Bump to top-

My puppy gets car sick so I need to crate train him soon. I am glad to have rescued him from the pound, but I'm tired of cleaning barf out of the vehicle. I love him so he is mine no matter what. Who can help me?

Don't really know what to tell you except don't feed him before trips to vet, use a kennel to transport so you can hose him and the kennel down or paper your car with garbage bags and tape them down.
I had a pup that would do that as well when she was young. We'd almost make it to the vets but never failed to produce an upchuck.
Luckily, she did grow out of it as she got out of puppyhood and she loved riding in the truck, nose sticking out the window and ears flying in the wind. Maybe your vet may have a remedy so ask and see. Hopefully, you won't have to take him to the vet, often!

Good Luck! Keep on loving him no matter what. The poor little guy can't help it!

Oops- I just realized that I typed a composite of my old and new cell phone numbers (wrong number). If you have an unused large dog crate or kennel you do not need, I am still looking. I can not miss any more work to stay with him during his "destructive phase". He needs crate training bad and I love him, and, I am poor cause it is slow season. The real # is 201-7021

I am sorry to hear about the predictament you are in and I hope someone steps up to the plate and donates an "unused large dog crate/kennel" to you. There are many animal owners/lovers on this board, so I hope you hear from one soon.

Sorry about the loss of you pet of many years.

Thank you St Thomas Humane Society for donating a nice dog kennel to help me out. I will donate it back when my problem is solved!
