I'm tv illiterate, but want to record daytime shows to watch on my computer, because not all are full original broadcast. Need DVR to record onto DVDs. Thank you.

Just buy a TV card for your computer, save the shows to your hard drive, eliminate the DVD.

DVR is a timed recorder that records onto a hard drive. Are you looking for one that records directly to a DVD?

I have one that I purchased here. Can't remember exactly where as it was awhile ago (CRS) but probably from K-mart.
