I am fostering a very pretty, healthy 7-8 month old, 35 pound terrier mix and am trying to find him a responsible, experienced owner. He was found wandering around the Havensight area and has been with me for less than a month.
He is neutered, de-wormed, and has had first shots. He is also micro-chipped.
Some notes on his behavior:
He is very cuddly, likes belly rubs, and loves to sit in my lap.
He is house-broken.
He is very energetic and needs an owner with a firm hand who has experience with powerful breeds.
He is making great progress heeling on the leash and responding to"sit" and "wait" commands.
Right now he gets one 45 min walk per day on a short leash, plus bathroom break walks. He could still use more exercise -- he would be a great running or biking companion.
He likes the beach and will play in the water.
If you live in an apartment, this is not the pup for you. I would like to see him placed with an owner who has a yard; he needs plenty of exercise and room to play.
If you would like to meet him, please send me a PM. If you are interested in adopting him I would like to bring him to your home so I can see what kind of environment he would be living in.
