I think I've decided to sell my Suzuki Samurai. It's a 1987 model with about $14,000+ invested in it. I'll list as much of the upgrades as I can remember but I'm sure I'll leave stuff out. First off this Samurai was stripped down to the frame about 4 years ago, sandblasted, and painted with a high dollar rust preventative paint. The body was painted at the same time and the rear interior was rhinolined. I installed a new 1.6L engine from a tracker that I ordered from Japan about 15,000 miles ago (I have receipts). This engine has a custom air intake, full stainless headers, and high flow cat and exhaust. The engine was installed with a conversion kit with custom wiring harness from petroworks offroad. I've got a brand new alternator for it as well but not installed.

The samurai has a spring over lift with custom shackles and a rears up front kit plus CJ7 springs in the rear. All suspension bushings were replaced with poly bushings. I installed brand new reservoir shocks from Skyjacker that retailed for $250 each. There are new brake lines up front and stainless lines in the rear. I rebuilt the front and rear axles in the past year and installed new wheel bearings, kingpin bearings, and axle seals/felts. One side has new brakes and rotors and I have the parts for the other side but haven't installed them.

This year I installed lower transfercase gears and had the case rebuilt with all new bearings and seals. The transfer case also got a mighty kong heavy duty mount from Rocky Road at the same time.

The interior is in good shape as well. It has front seats out of a 2006 Dodge neon and rear folding seats from a minivan. I had a custom rollcage built and installed in the rear with shoulder belts. The soft top is in good shape and less than 4 years old.

I've upgraded the headlights to HID with projectors from an Infinity car in custom housings with high end morimoto ballasts and bulbs. The lights are pure white and have a sharp cutoff. I've got a led dome light that's brand new but not installed.

About 1000 miles ago I put on new 31x10.50 all terrain tires and have a spare that has never seen pavement.

What it needs: The passenger interior door handle has broken. I have replacement handle but needs to be installed. Reverse lights don't work (wiring issue) but the rear lights are new. Parking brake not working (cable disconnected but could be reconnected).

I shipped this vehicle down this past August so it hasn't spent much time on island. The only reason I'm selling is that we have two cars and I've only put about 300 miles on it in the past 4 months and we really can't afford two cars right now. I have put a lot of time and money in this vehicle and it's been a hard decision to sell it. You won't find a better Samurai on island and if you've ever wanted to modify one then buy this and save yourself time and money. There are lots of other things i've done that I haven't listed as well. I've got some spare parts and stuff that I've accumulated over the years as well that will go with it. I'm asking $8000 and that price is firm. Send me a PM with a phone number if interested and I'll get back with you to set up a time to view/test drive. I'll try to have pictures posted tomorrow.
