Getting from USVI to the Bahamas (and back)

I will be living on St. John for the next year and was invited to a Wedding on the Bahamas. Is there any inexpensive way that does not involve going back to FL or the states to get from somewhere in the USVI and the Bahamas? Thanks!

Unless you do a Charter then you have to go to FLA

I would be looking at Spirit Airlines to Florida then what ever best flight you can get from there.
