Hi,

has anyone had the unfortunate need to require urgent care? Have you had a heart attack or a traumatic injury? What was your experience like? I can't even imagine getting an ambulance on scene and then to the hospital in an acceptable amount of time with the traffic and such. Am I overly concerned? Thoughts....

No, you are not overly concerned. On STX we have 2 or rarely 3 ambulances and crews on duty at any one time. If they are busy when you have your emergency you have the option of waiting, or having someone drive you to the hospital. And if the ambulance is available, be prepared (IN ADVANCE) to give exact, details directions to your residence. If your driveway is long and rough, plan to meet them at the end of the drive.

This is a serious issue.
