*I have recently arrived from the islands and have accepted a teaching position St. Thomas public schools. My boyfriend and I will be moving to St. Thomas on Agust the 20th. Is there a posibility to find a vacation home to take care off as a housing option?

This is unlikely unless you are willing to pay the full going rate for rent that the vacation home would otherwise bring in from tourists. Home owners who are willing to let someone else stay in their houses when they are off-island have no trouble finding someone who will pay to do so.
