I was just posting an ad on craigslist and there were numerous "Rent to Own" ads all at fantastic prices, with marble floors, elavators and my favorite....central heat!
Probably don't need to tell most of you this, but we don't have central heat, fireplaces, garages (maybe), etc. and you aren't going to get high end places, with marble, granite, etc. for $700, including utilities.
If it sounds too good.....you know the rest!

I love my chimenea so much that if we were building a house, I would probably put in a fireplace, but it would be outside somewhere.
But you know what I mean about some of those ads. I wouldn't mind if craigslist would charge for the ads, and actually the rent to own ones look like they might be paid ads because they say they have a pic, but when you look at it, it's a big "display" type ad, not a picture at all.

I did install central heat as part of a high-efficiency heat pump system in a home here in St. Croix, but it was part of the package. But yes, there are a lot of scams out there!
