Hey all,
I was offered a position on the island of St. Thomas (Awesome!) and now I have to move on to the many steps of making it happen. I will be moving with my boyfriend and our cat. We are looking for a 1 bedroom place to rent for between $800-1000 a month, obviously on a safe part of the island, close to the beach would be nice, and close to town. Does anybody know of good deals and good landlords? I know I can't ask for the world AND cheap rent, but I am not made of money...ha. I live in Chicago right now so I am used to the cost of living, but who doesn't want a good deal?
Anyways, any help that can be provided would be amazing. Thank you all and I will see you on the islands!

A sudio probably wouldn't be the best for the three of us, plus it is pretty expensive for a little space. We are looking for at least a year lease. My job will be at Tillett Gardens so I need either something close to there or easy to get to. My boyfriend is a bartender so I am assuming he will be trying to work in Charolette Amalie. Any more help you can provide would be excellent!

Kait: The idea with Onika's studio is for you to have a place short term in order to search for your very own piece of paradise. You can look at Ronnie's Villa Fairview also. You need to see any housing before you sign a lease and you will need to drive around, see what the various areas look like.
