In need of housing and a car in STT

Thank you to those that have responded to my posts looking for a place for myself and my dog. I'm still searching for an apartment that will accept my 5 lb dog so that I can move out of my temporary housing situation. The dog is very well behaved, doesn't bark, and has never ever torn things up or made a mess. I also would really like to find somewhere with utilities included because it would make my life easier while my husband searches for a job when he gets down here. Something in the range of $750 to $1100 would be very helpful.

On another note, I'm in serious need of a car. I'm looking to spend $1000 or less and it doesn't have to be perfect, however it does have to be void of any engine problems or malfunctions that could cause me to blow two grand. Minor body damage or an imperfect exterior and interior are fine with me.

Please respond if you know of anything or have something yourself. Thank you!

Yeah, I've been keeping track of both of those for the past two weeks but I'm also just looking to see if anyone here as anything to offer as well.

A car for $1,000 or less is not going to be very reliable here...they kinda start at $1,500, ya know? I don't mean that it's impossible to find, just that it's much more likely to find one that runs well if you up the amount to $1,500....just a thought.....
