Their phone is disconnected, their website doesn't exist, and I haven't gotten a reply to an e-mail yet. What's up?

I get asked that question all the time.
Last week I serviced a system that was about a block away from where Marvin lives. He had been telling this nice lady for 3 months he was coming but never showed up, never called back, voicemail is turned off etc.....
