Is there a location(s) on STX anywhere, where locals park their cars that are for sale -kinda like an unofficial used car lot ? Trying to find a local vehicle to buy and seems like every ad I reach out to, the vehicle is on another island and they want $400-$600 up front before I even get to look at the vehicle.
Looking for a Jeep or pick up type vehicle... 4 seats, something that sits up off the ground a little bit and can take the abuse of these roads...

Thank you drdavidson - but I found a truck yesterday that suits my needs and I like and I jumped on it ..... very ironically - it is a 2009 Dodge Dakota......what are the odds ?
