Kittens found in bushes-STX -Need good homes

We found three kittens in the bushes in King's Alley. After talking to one of the store clerks who was feeding them, and discovering that people were throwing rocks at them and even throwing one in the water, we decided to take them home.

I am working on getting a trap for the mom-this is her 4th or 5th set of kittens.

In the meantime, we have three adorable and very friendly kittens that need homes. They are not feral. They should be old enough to spay/neuter next week, and we plan to take care of that ourselves before letting them go to their new home. If we can avoid taking them to the shelter, we will.

Asking $10 to offset the cost of spay/neuter.

Email me for pictures or more information.

The story I got was that as the shops start to close down and it gets dark, "kids" and "people" come by and throw rocks and harass the various cats that are around. The clerk said she caught a guy throwing one kitten in the water and cuffed him on the back of the head...no word on if she got the cat out of the water. I didn't even want to ask.

That`s too bad.
Thanks for tacking care of the cats.
It is unfortunate kids are brought up to terrorize animals!
I can`t remember who, but it has been said here there is a connection between animal abuse & people abuse.
I believe if you can be cruel to a animal, it doesn't take much to extend that to humans.
