American Paridisers not sure there is such a word :>)

Eager to buy a well-maintained, off-road, jeep-type vehicle. For example, could be a Suzuki SideKick or similar manufacturer/model.

It is for my wife and she would like Automatic and cold, cold, cold A/C. Soft top preferable; hard top OK.

Budget: $7,000.

A pre-thank you for any suggestions.

I hope that "off road" does mean that you intend to drive your 4wheel drive vehicle off road. We do not have enough space to chew up and rut up our island with off road cars. Beaches are too precious (turtle eggs) to ever drive on.

Please tell me you will only drive on roads (bumpy rutted dirt roads are ok.)

Point well taken. Glad you are concerned.

My wife likes to explore unpaved, very rutted roads. Promise to be environmentally-conscious. An aside: I was one of the founding contributors to Greenpeace.
