Hey board. If anyone in the islands has a 1BR apartment near town in STT that may be opening up around the middle to end of July, I would appreciate some information e-mailed to me at skylerbrenner@yahoo.com or posted to the board. I would like to have a place lined up. By lined up, I mean a place to go look at right away and then pay the fees. I don't want to have to stay at short-term rental places for very long, the cheaper the better, ya know. Thanks in advance for any responses.- Mark Brenner

Hello mbrenner,
did you ever get the chance to call the landlord about the apartment? As far as I know, she hasn't found a new tenant yet...

To anyone who may be looking for an apartment in St THomas, I am moving off-island this month. So my apartment will be available. It is located in Estate THomas, but up on Raphune Hill...not downtown with all the people. It really is a quiet little neighborhood. The apartment is a duplex house that has a family living upstairs. My apartment was on the lower level of the duplex. It's a two-bedroom apartment & the rent is $875/month. It's acually a pretty good location becuase you are right near the "safari route", so you can pretty much get anywhere you want to. BUt at the same time, you are not so close to all the chaos downtown. On the downside, the apartment is not air conditioned...but it does have ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms. Also, it does not have a laundry facility. But on the plus side, it does have a beautiful balcony overlooking the Charlotte Amalie Harbor. If you are interested, you can call my landlord, Mrs Brenda Vanterpool. She's a Methodist minister & a very sweet lady. Her number is (340)-776-4455.
