Looking for 1 bedroom apt STJ

Hi! I just arrived on island yesterday and am looking to rent a 1 bedroom apt or possibly move in with a room mate. I am 24 years old, college educated and very neat and respectful - just ask my previous landlord in DC (I have a reference from him). Would ideally like to have a month to month lease and understand that I will likely have to pay a bit of a premium for this.
