My dog Kira is a smaller dog (about 19 pounds). She's loving, super sweet, very healthy, loves to go on hikes, somewhat territorial and definitely protective of her owner and home….
Despite all Kira’s great qualities, I realize that her personality requires a different environment than I can give her. Right now, she just isn’t thriving in her current living situation.
About four years ago, I found Kira as a wild puppy living in the bush across from Beeston Hill. After trapping her, I planned to take her to the Animal Shelter, but she quickly won me over. It now breaks my heart to think of parting with her, or having to put her down, but for several reasons I cannot keep her in my home any longer.
I believe she’d flourish best in a home where she’s preferably the only pet (although she seems to be fine w/ cats) and where there aren’t any young children.
Please help me find her a new home!!
