Hi - Max, who I'm temporarly staying with, is letting me use his log. My name is Jerry Sylvia, and I'm 52 years old. I have been housesitting, and the owner just returned, so I'm looking for an apartment to rent and/or share. I've been on-island 3 years, and have a stable income. I smoke, but only outside. Let me know if you are interested in sharing, or if you know of a place to rent.

Jerry

It might help if you let everyone know which Island. I might be looking for a roommate on St Croix, depending on where you are looking we might work something out.

Jerry,

If you are on Saint Thomas, pick up a Island trader, or you can look on-line, www.islandtrader.vidaily.com a new issue should come out today, (Dec-05) I am looking as well in the area of $1000. or less and the last issue had 18 ads that caught my eye. I also had solicited a possible roommate from the many folks that placed ads and what I found out is, if you go and secure housing, put up the first, last and security, then place an ad for room mate wanted after you have established everything, you will have no problem finding someone to share the expense. I am no longer looking for a room mate but will send any your way if I am asked. Good luck!

Peter

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, my car just died, so I pretty much need to be on the East End. Keep me posted though.

Well, no luck. I've moved into the Villa Fairview as a temporary measure until I find a place on East End. Appreciate the responses, and keep me in mind if anything comes up. Thanks.
