Hi! My husband and I are planning on moving to St. Croix in 1-2 years and want to visit this summer to check everything out. We live in College Station, TX (home of Texas A&M University) so if you are interested in a house swap, let me know. We would like to stay for 2 weeks in June, July, or August. If you have a rental in mind, please let me know.

Thanks,
Theresa

Hello Theresa:

I know a house where the first floor is used for just such purposes. I am transitioning out of being their property manager, however, if you could send me the dates, I could certainly check for availability and price. Much, much lower than hotels or other options...pool, near beach, lovely.

All the best,

I think we are looking at the last week of July and first week of August. We have also considered renting a full month and having another couple stay the last two weeks if that is an option.

Thanks

I actually just noticed that there was a craigslist for the virgin islands. Thanks! Also, for those who post saying there are not rentals that allow pets, you need to look at craigslist. I was able to find many places that allow pets and they are not much more expensive. Pet lovers just need to know the right places to look and I have found craigslist to be a great resource in many cities.
