I'm living on St. Thomas and am looking to buy a motorcycle. I had no idea it would be so hard to find something. Anyone know of one for sale or where they can be purchased? Looking to spend no more than $3000 or $4000. Thanks for your help.

I know of one on STX in great condition, about 1K miles on it, for $6K. Owner is in the military and had to leave island. I have a photo available. It's a 2003 Suzuki SV650s in a copper color. It comes with an Yoshimura slip-on exhaust that in the words of the owner: (sounds amazing! very deep, throaty v-twin sound), frame sliders, and an aftermarket rear fender eliminator with integrated turn signals.

If anyone is interested, I can put you in touch with the seller to ask questions and maybe bargain a bit on the price.

Arriving St Croix next week and didn't bring my Jeep. I need something and would be interested in the bike. How does the insurance and licensing work on St Croix?

I was admiring some new Yamaha bikes at the showroom of Offshore Marine at Sub Base the other day (right beside the Crown Bay Cruise ship docks) I did not note the prices (scared to look)

Licensing would be through the DMV and I would expect that the insurance would be through one of the vehicle insurance carriers. If you'd like to see the bike when you arrive, shoot me an email at [email protected] and I can make arrangements for you to see it.
