moving with kids?

My husband and I are seriously considering a "permanent" move to STT. Our kids are 10 and 7. They're great little travellers and are cool with the idea of moving. My biggest concern is education. Anybody have kids in the system- public school or otherwise? Any concerns?

I have dneo presentations in the public schools elementry and hs (and a private)... here in St. Croix... I also know a few teachers/counselors/para-professionals (in both pub and priv... What I have seen first hand and heard in the public vs. private system is... uuhhhhh...

Lets just say just like most things in the world you get what you pay for...
I seriously doubt that St. Thomas would be much different from St. Croix...

also if you do go private... make sure that they are accedited by an "acceptable agency"... I have been told that there is at least two private schools that are noe and their studnetst can not gain admissions to UVI, due to thier lack of accreditations... that info is via the admissions office, a few days ago...
