It's off of Hull Bay road and is a down stairs apartment with 3 bedrooms and two baths with a view of Magen's Bay. She usually doesn't require a lease or rental references, as long as you got the cash and a job she's pretty much good to go. The apartment is pretty much furnished with beds, but may not have the little small items like plates and utensils. She's asking $1800.00. If any interest, PM me and I'll try and hook you up.

I have a good friend who has just moved back to the VI from Florida to help with his elderly mother. Would you know if anyone offering a decent 1 bedroom place for $600 a month?

No and good luck finding a place for $600.00. You might try posting on Craigslist and see if you can locate someone willing to share an apartment with you and you rent one of the bedrooms. But $600.00 doesn't go far on Island as far as housing goes.
