Hello -
Couple with dog looking to relocate to STJ or STT. Move date is flexible. We are mid-thirties professionals looking to start a new life away from hectic Chicago and the snow! The housing/rental market is so challenging, any leads or information anyone is willing to provide would be greatly appreciated. For those of you that already live in the USVI, we admire you all and hope to be privileged enough to join you soon.

Thank you for your time.

You are looking at a very good time. There is actually quite a lot available. I suggest checking ads on line at www.virginislandsdailynews.com, getting a copy of the Island Trader (not on line) and checking www.stjohnnews.com - as well as a realtor on STj called Scenic Properties 693-7777. Right now you can negotiate...But Don't make a deal without coming to the island and seeing the actual place thoroughly.

What I rent is not appropriate for you long term -no dogs allowed. I have a 2 bedroom condo on STT- fully furnished- that is currently vacant and available for long term rental. If you wanted to rent it for up to two weeks to look at housing, the cost would be $2000. It 's very nice and on the beach, pool, tennis, etc.

If interested, you can reach me at 340-513-4298.
