Hi,
My family of 5 moved to STX 2 weeks ago. We have temporary housing and are looking for a 3 bedroom house for long term rental. My husband has a 4 year committment to be here for his job. Furnished or partially furnished preferred in safe and secure area. We do have a dog that will be shipped from the states when the weather cools.

Sorry to say that I am not responding with any information regarding a house for you and your family. I actually was hoping that I could discuss something else with you. I am in the process of applying for a job through the department of education for a speech language pathologist position that is available. My family and I would be making the big move from the states if the job comes through. "My family" includes my husband and our three young children 5, 3 and 8 months. Good luck on getting a job through the department of education. It is a lengthy process. I was trying to get a special education job but the red tape was unbelievable. Anyways, my children are actually adults 19, 21, 23 so it will be a lot different for you. My understanding is that most people that move here put their kids in private school. If you haven't looked into that you probably need to. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
