Need pet-friendly long-term apt for mid-April move--STX

I'm going to be returning to STX in mid-April and will be looking for a small long-term rental for one person. (I'd thought that my friend's child would be coming to live with me, but that's not happening after all.) I'm employed, a nonsmoker, decent credit, don't drink, don't party, don't play my music loud, basically keep to myself.

Now for the catch. I have a neutered, litterbox trained shorthair tabby cat who's coming with me. He was a rescue, and I couldn't possibly let him go through being abandoned again just as he's learning to start trusting humans again. He's not loud, not messy or destructive (with having been neutered, he doesn't spray, and he's never had a litter accident; also I keep Kitty Caps on his claws so that he can't scratch things up), and I'm really good about keeping the cat hair cleaned up. Paying a pet deposit isn't a problem and has been figured into my move budget, so I'm prepared for that.

I'd need something close to public transportation, because I'm figuring that I won't be able to get a car loan till I've been with the company for at least a year, which will be mid-July. If I'm paying utilities separately, then the best price range for me would top out at about 600-650 (lower would be great, but you don't see me holding my breath for that, and yes, I know I'm not going to get very much apartment in that price range). As far as location, I'd prefer somewhere between Plaza West and Gallows Bay, because the east end is pretty much inaccessible till I have wheels of my own, and I don't know the west end very well.

If you've got something coming up around that time that you think would work, or if you know someone who does, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi, I think i have a tenant moving out April 1- Its a 2 bedroom on Strand st in F'Sted (I shop at plaza west- about 15 min) about a 2-3 min walk to great beach- great off st parking(but sounds like your not there yet) pet is no problem- 600 is the current rent (+utilities) no extra pet deposit needed for the sounds of your cat! where are you coming from?
Good luck, let me know if this helps, I will try to get answer from current tenant.

I was kind of trying for mid-island or C'sted, because that's a lot easier to get back and forth, because when I lived there before, I ALWAYS had difficulty getting a taxi from the west end to my job (worked at Sunny Isle, will be returning to my job there).

I have a suite next to the unit where the wife and I live vailable in a week. Give me a call, you can check it out, I can offer you the unit on a week to week basis for $150 for a two month period and than must increase to $700, plus you pay electric usage. The unit is completely furnished and quite roomy with a queen bed, small kitchen, and a full size bathroom with shower and tub. has an outdoor patio with an ocean view.
If after a few weeks you find a place you think suits you better, you move on.

The location is mid island near Judith Fancy. Located in same gated community of ST C condos. The wife and I have 2 neutered and declawed indo cats. One of our long term renters also has 2 indoor neuetered cats. Simply stated, cats or small grown animals are not a problem.

If interested, call me 340-201-4537 John or email pelicaninnmangerSTX@yahoo.com .

I thought St C condos were way up where you couldn't get to them by public transportation. Am I wrong on that one?

Have a very quiet, very safe, pet friendly apartment on the East End. It's on the Public Trans route. Call me at 340.513.8281 and I'll fill you in. Thanks!

If it's the same one in your ad, it's nearly double what I posted as being my upper price range. Thank you, though.
