I'm moving to St. Croix this weekend, I'm from Puerto Rico and I'm going to work there, I don't really have that much time, because they are expecting me on Monday.
Please let me know if somebody can help me with that, I'm moving alone and I don't have any pets.

I think you're being overly optimistic about finding a studio for $500 including utilities but you might want to take a look on craigslistvi under rooms/share for something within your budget. There are a couple of roommate/share situations there which might suit. Hopefully your new employer is putting you up temporarily until you get settled? Good luck!
