From parent education, skills building, habilitation training and treatment planning, evaluations and assessments. Provided by professional with over two decades of experience. Was the exclusive referral resource for the Yale University Child Studies Clinic. Working on the first of two books about "Parents: A guide in raising your child with an autism spectrum disorder; Volume I: Birth to three".
Contracted already with publisher, first volume to be in production by March, 2010.

Given the demands of writing this important work, I am working now on a contracted basis for consultation, some grant writing, but first and foremost, the betterment of the future for children with ASDs. Anywhere in the USVI. Rate: $200- per day, minimum of five days to allow for one leg of the process to be completed. Can repeat contract if needed. Off of St. Croix, daily rate plus the covering of airfare and lodging.

Please send a private IM in response to this posting. Please do not put down any specifics about family or child for security reasons. Please provide first names of parents, home phone and cell. You will be contacted within 24 hours.

Taking the 'dis' away from ability.

Dan,
I'm glad you are doing this. It was in 2005 that Eric and his family had to leave the island because their autistic son couldn't get decent services. Autism is so prevalent in the last few years. It is good to see progress being made here to improve the lives of our youth.

Hello there. I honestly have not been following this thread as I did not know it is active. Busy working and writing first volume of two on a training and resource manual for parents, friends, etc. Book in contract for publication on 1/15/2010, first run should be in March. If this, or any of the things I previously mentioned would be helpful for parents, children, teachers, etc., please let me know.
People always have come first in my life, and now is no different (just more busy!)

If you PM me regarding any need, I will send full contact information.

All the best, and bravo to all the parents and children who work with these disorders in their lives everyday,

Dan
