Please help with some PMV advice

Hello all! It's been a bit since I posted, but I have been keeping up with the board as much as possible. I am finishing up my last project shortly and just bought my plane ticket for my PMV from 10/23-11/02. I can't wait to get there! I got my ticket for $250rt from NY to STT with only one stop; a pretty nice deal from what I can tell (Orbitz had a lot of tix at this price.) Anyways, I was looking for some advice on where to stay during my visit for a good rate; I will be solo. I know that is getting close to in-season, but was just looking for any recommendations that you guys may know of. I don't necessarily know of a particular location that I need to stay; I plan to rent a car for the 11 days and try to cover at least STT to meet with some employers and look for a place to live. Any and all advice you may have on the PMV housing and best way to ensure a successful, efficient PMV is very much appreciated. I have searched through a lot of the old posts and have some ideas already. I definitely hope that I get to meet some of you during my visit; this board has been a HUGE help and source of inspiration for me and you guys are good people. I am looking forward to Halloween on the islands! Again, I thank you for your advice and look forward to hearing from/meeting you.
Regards,
Chad McCormack

Hello there Chad. Again, I think that posting "Seeking PMV for _____" dates would catch the eye of people who have rooms or apartments to rent. If you can do a search for Onika, she has posted in the past for PMV'ers and room to rent.

Just a suggestion. If you find something, jump on it. The islands and apartments and/or rooms are booking very quickly now.

Best wishes,

Dan G.

Also try Green Iguana at Blackbeards. I used it myself for a move and prices were good. It is centrally located downtown, safe and clean.
