Hello there again! I wanted to let you know that I have two apartments, one an efficiency with a full kitchen, the other, a one bedroom with a kitchen area that is functional however does not have full appliances (smaller fridge, smaller microwave and burners, etc.).
The efficiency is going to be used in August and September, however it is open from the last week of June and all of July. The PMV/short term rental is $50- per day, or $800 per month. The one bedroom again for short stays is $65 per day (summer rate) or $875 per month. If you are staying longer, the rent will be reduced.
Each includes wireless Internet, all utilities, DVD players, basic cable, TV's, linen and towels (for daily rates, I do the laundry. If you are staying longer, we will provide a starter set of everything, however you are responsible for changing your own linens).

I am located just outside of old Christiansted (2/3 of a mile) and a few blocks from Gallows Bay, less than that to shopping, laundry, restaurant and deli.
When of if you contact me, please include the reason for your stay. We try to help people who are moving, or checking out the island for a possible move, but do try to avoid people who will come to get drunk every night, make a lot of noise and leave the apartment a wreck. Just common sense.

Hello Dan,
I'm moving to St. Thomas for an internship and I will def. be there August through December. Is this unit near Sugar Bay resort?

Hello there again! I want to give you folks that are visiting an update on availability of the apartments.
The studio apartment is open from now until August 1, 2007 and then will not be open again until perhaps October.
The 1 bedroom apartment is being occupied until the end of July. Then it is open for a few months, then occupied I believe in October or November. I will have to check with the people if that is still their plan and will clarify when I hear back.
Thanks again for all, and thank you to everyone who points people in this direction. It is a bit more difficult than just renting out the apartments, but I meet such great people in the process that it is more than worthwhile!

Hello there folks! I am trying to keep people updated as best I can with the two units that have now had many, many people make their passage to the island! I hope it/they can be of benefit to others as well.
The studio is now booked until October, however the 1 bedroom is open in August, and perhaps 1 to 1.5 weeks in September. Then it will not be open again until November.
In December, the daily, weekly and monthly rates do go up as this is how we can balance out the cost of WAPA and other utilities that come with the units, do repairs, etc. When we get to December, or if you already know you are interested, just drop me a note and I will get you the rates and availability. As my parents do come down to the one bedroom for 6-12 weeks, I will work on finding out from their end when they will be coming down this year.
I hope this summer is treating everyone well, and as always, if there is some information other than renting that I might be able to help with, please let me know, and I will find out what I can. Many of the threads seemed to have been going all over, so I stayed quiet a bit with the moving board. Please just write to me either by private message or at Affiliationllc@aol.com.

Hi Dan!
My best friend and I are looking to move to St. Croix in October, and stay through January. We are looking to work as waitresses and/or bartenders, and are currently checking out housing availability. Please let me know if you would have anything available for those dates! If not, do you know the best way to go about finding apartments?

Hello there! I have helped dozens of people, sometimes multiple times, to really do a PMV. Many of them live on St. Croix now.
Although the Studio apartment is booked for a while, the 1 bedroom apartment is open on multipe occasions. It is close to Gallows Bay and C'sted, and comes with just about everything from full furrnishing to a furnished huge pation looking out at a tree garden with many orchids for your pleasure. It is open for the month of August, or any weeks within that month. It is also open for the second half of September and all of October.
It truly is a great place to stay, clean, wireless computer access, gardens that are gorgeous, and I am pretty good as an information provider. The daily rate is $65, including linen services and flower changing every few days. I do not intrude, so if a light cleaning is needed, just ask and it will be done. It is also a storm shelter, so it is safe in the event of a storm.
I am writing this as within the next few weeks, I will be bookd through to the springl I always try to suppport the Pre move visitors first.
To book, please call me at 340-513-7941. I do require a deposit as there have been several 'no shows' which takes the place of those with a plan for a PMV and eventual move.
