Thanks to all for the responses to the several questions I have asked. Now the important question. My wife and I will need a 1-2 bedroom rental for 3-6 months while we look for permanent housing starting the 30 of this december. Crazy date I know but you know how selling your house can be.Any way we are 50's people, no pets and will be semi retired professionals. You know not rich but can manage. we are looking for something nice to call home while we look. Can anyone help or direct us to a local rental person. That would really be great. We really thank you guys for the support you have already shown us.

You didn't mention which island you'll be moving to. If you're coming to St. Croix, you might want to start with the real estate offices and inquire about rental properties. Joe Thayer @ Coldwell Banker normally has alot of rentals. His number on St. Croix is (340) 778-7001, also might try American Rentals & Sales (340) 773-8470. There is also a monthly publication of houses for sale that you can view on the web at www.housesvi.com

I would recommend American Rentals, talk to Dorothy...she is currently listing my 2 bedroom, 2 bath house in Solitude ,with Buck island view...might be perfect for you.
