Honestly, does anyone use house sitting services anymore? We are a retired,reliable and very responsible couple (a vet and a school teacher) and we are interested in a long term position in a private, secure area to take care of.

Most people have friends or family they can call upon to help them out. When we needed a house/cat sitter we either knew people who could sit or had friends who knew someone. I believe this is very much a networking situation.
