Room - or couch - needed for 3-4 nights

I am long term STX'er that moved to STT. Have to come back to STX for a few days to do some educational sesssions. I am looking for something easy to reach, traveling over here on a tight budget. I am not opposed to renting a room in a house for just the couple days.
I am late 40's, settled, and will be gone all day. Doing some educational work on behalf of some legislation passed.

If anyone has a vehicle I can borrow/rent (yeah right! lol) that would be great too.

Remember, I am working for the betterment of the people of the Territory. Also, you can write off the room/car rental as tax deductible as we are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
