hi everybody...

...i just moved to st. thomas, because i will work here for one year - maybe somebody can tell me where i will find a nice, but not so expensive apartment on the east side of the island for one year? where i'm living at the moment is just for the start.

I appreciate every single tip. Thank you,

jil

I will be moving there also to the East end of St. Thomas December 5th and I have yet to find anything that I can afford, I'm basically running on fumes, but when I get there I already have a permanent job with the NPS, i was wondering where are you staying now? and if you would consider a roommate situation? If you want you can e-mail me at StacieShook77@yahoo.com, or answer here on the forum. I check it at least 20 times a day.

thanks
Stacie

A friend and I are also looking for a place in the east end-red hook area. Finding a place in a decent price range seems impossible. We are looking around Jan 1st, so if you haven't found anything yet and are still looking for roommates let me know. We don't smoke, drink, or have pets and are super nice, fun people.

I am going to be staying in the Villa Fairview until the end of December, when you guys come in to the area let me know via e-mail StacieShook77@yahoo.com and maybe we can get a nice place cheap. At least we can hope to find something three people can afford. I'm an easy person to get along with and will be working and going to school the majority of the time so I basically need some place just to eat and sleep at. Anyway if your interested in becoming roommates l would love to get to know you guys better so lets keep in touch.

Look forward to hearing from you

hi...thank you for your answers. at the moment i'm staying at the ritz-carlton hotel, cause i'm working there. they have an apartment for me from saturday on, but i'm not sure if this is something where I can stay for one year - so maybe it would be good to stay in touch if we decide an apartment-share opportunity.
regards, jil

Anyone interested in ball park $600 per person?

The roommate situations that I have seen have been around 600 to 700 per person, at least at the east end of the Island. I will be needing a roommate by the time you arrive so let me know if you are interested, my e-mail is StacieShook77@yahoo.com, I am a 30 y/o female that will be working for the NPS full time plus going to school and diving when ever I find the time so I really need just a place to sleep and eat. Keep in touch if this sounds good.
