Seeking Land, Help!

Hello there again folks! I was just approved by the SBA to purchase land up to 40K. The purpose is to create a set of gardens that will have the plants from the gardens also for sale. It will be a major undertaking, and one problem, right at the beginning, is that I would need to purchase over 1/2 acre to start, with the option to purchase more.

As so many things are word of mouth here, if you know of someone who is willing to list, or wants to list, but have not yet gone to a broker, I would love to hear from them. In turn, we will save the cost of an agent, and I can pay all legal fees as a thank you.

I have looked at the MLS, but have come up with little. Again, any 'inside information would be helpful.

I do have a short time frame with the SBA to locate and purchase, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards to all,

Dan

Hey Dan

Have you talked to the folks who run the bio-friendly vegetable business down at southgate?

I know there are green houses there and well water and of course the vegetable stand. All of this is across the street from Cheesburgers. Maybe there is some land that will fit your needs.

Check it out....

Someone else suggested that, and I think it is a great idea. Perfect location, etc. so I will go over and check it out!

Best regards,

Dan

Hey Dan, good luck! Just a bump to a good person!

Good to see you on the forum again, maybe one of these days I can get off THIS rock over to the Big Island for a day to see you and maybe some others.

This inter-island ferry service has for so long been so up and down but I saw today on STT Source that a Senate Committee has approved a lease with a local company to provide exclusive ferry rights between STT and STX. As always I'm personally scepitical about anything the government has dibs on but it sure would be nice. Of course the deal has to pass the Senate and there certainly are some unaddressed areas right now.

Every time I've thought of coming over from STT to STX for a day I've been stymied time-wise and ferry-not-operating issues and I can't really afford the seaplane.

Cheers, Dan!
