If you look under Danieljude, a recent post, I do have an apartment in Christiansted that would probably be not much more than the cost of a room for rent. I just posted a few minutes ago. As I am familiar with the trade, the only thing that could for some be problemmatic is that substance abuse is not tolerated (*I am not saying you do, however, in that industry, the are a lot of people who do). No offense, but felt the need to be clear.
