As an alternative to my Water Island search, I am also looking for a clean and nice condo or share in St. Thomas. I would prefer a furnished and all inclusive place that is either near the safari route or near area an where I can bike. I am selling my vehicle in August. I am a single clean individual with a good job in St. Thomas. I do not have children, do not own pets and do not smoke. I have lived with a female in the past and may consider doing so depending on the circumstance. Thanks.

Wondered what price range you are looking in? Friends of ours just moved off STT this week so their apt(s) might be available

well it depends on how nice the place is and where its located and whats included.. i check craigslist daily and i have found some nice arrangements for $700-$800 all inclusive here in st thomas and st john.. i have found many nice shares even cheaper than that.. i pay 450 a month now for a nice share on the north side with utilities and water included.

Unless you're familiar with STT and STJ, be careful about the craigslist scams. There are several on there right now ... I'm a little confused by your own situation. Have you been here long? $450/month with everything included sounds like a great deal so why would you give that up? And you're selling your car? I'm just being nosy/curious.

I have been on island three years. My current living situation is a great deal. However, remember I said it's a share. The other half is leaving island. When that happens, my cost of living will double. I enjoy living here for $450. I would not enjoy living here for $900. As far as Craigslist, about 30-40% of those ads are fraudulent. They're rather easy to spot and especially easy to identify when they respond. And yes, I am selling my car. I have wanted to bike around the flats for a long time. Up here, I can't really take advantage of that. I am tired of the gas prices and sitting in traffic. Not too bad right now but during season you know what I mean. If my location is right, I really have no use for a car. Should I get tired of not having one and I live down there, I will probably just import a korean or japenese scooter since most of them on this island are chinese made. Thanks but I'm all set =].

I am looking at relocating and looking for a share if you are interested in replacing your roommate?
