Whether a price is "steep" depends on what the relevant comparisons are.

For a large, fully furnished short term rental with direct sea view, pool, and turnkey features in high season, the price is actually not very steep. Fortunately though, there are many types of housing options on the market at various price points, so most people can and do find the thing that suits.
