I have a large house in a rather upscale area near Frederiksted known as Little Lagrange. The upstairs part which is being offered here to rent has three bedrooms, two baths, a very large living room and separate kitchen and laundry room. The main bedroom has air-conditioning but it is almost never needed because of the elevation and breeze. There are also plenty of ceiling fans and a second air conditioner in the living room which has never been used or needed. There is plenty of closet space and I use a shipping container for extra shared storage. The cistern is about 50,000 gallons, is full of sparkling clean water that never runs out although I do have a solar powered deep well on the property as backup. We use solar hot water and quite a few solar electric panels that work with state-of-the-art batteries to run the water pump and other essential electric needs so that if there is a power outage it's not a problem. The house sits about 700 feet up on a hill facing the West and the view of the ocean and F'sted which is three miles due west looking out from the front porch, master bedroom and living room is breathtaking. I live in the downstairs part of the house and have four dogs who get along very well with other dogs. They and the present tenant's dog have the run of my four plus acre property and the many more acres of surrounding rain forest. There are no neighbors to speak of. If you would like me to e-mail photos or are interested in visiting give me a call at 340-772-9025 or e-mail at [email protected] . The tenants I have now have been there since the house was built which is about 12 years, and have kept it immaculate. I'm asking $2600 a month in rent which will cover electric and water use as well as free broadband Internet access and free satellite television. Also included with rent are the use of a new high end large capacity washer, a new large capacity refrigerator and a new gas range /stove.
