Hello there good people. I can't believe we are coming up on Sept. 1? Where has the time gone? In any event, I wanted to remind people that they can check the advertisement under real estate on this forum, but also want to point out some apartments or houses that are new, or that are gone. Our web master is off island, so these may not get updated right away.

Hermon Hill, Giant 1 Bedroom apartments: We are now down to one apartment out of the three. $950 plus $175 flat rated utilities (1 pet okay)

Sion Hill: House is rented

Little Fountain: House, 4 bedroom still for rent, $2,200 + utilities and sec. deposit

East St., Christiansted: 2 apartments left. 1 studio ($800+) and 1 one bedroom ($900+). Includes phone, basic cable, A/C, DSL.

Southgate Estate: (1 pet okay). The 'Pool House'. Asking $2,500, accepting reasonable offers. Great indoor/outdoor living on 4 beautifully gardened acres.

La Grande Princesse: 2 of 8 units near completion. Enormous 1 bedroom units. Can show in 10 days. Price to be determined this week. Walk to beach near Pelican Cove.

King St: 1, 1 bedroom apartment, 2nd floor. Like a tree house. Lovely. $850+. Courtyard, off main street.

Others: If you go to the website and send me an email, I can send a full listing of anything/everything that is still available. For short term rentals, taking Holiday bookings now for winter. All reservations now will qualify for summer rates, even if stay is during winter. (5 places on all parts of island).

Thank you again, and I hope this updating is helpful for those of you making plans to move during late summer/fall.

Best Wishes as always,

Dan Gilbride
