We are a family of 4 from Denmark, Morten (39), Anne (38), Amanda (6) and Johanne (3), travelling with Annes sister Mette (35) - all in all 3 adults and 2 children.
We are interested in exchanging home with USVI in the weeks 29, 30 and 31 (app. 13 - 29 July or what would be possible for you) this summer.
We can offer you our house in Aarhus, Jutland and also Mettes house in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Both houses would be at your disposal as you please. Also we have cars that we would offer to include in the swap.

Would that be of any interest to anyone?

We have been visiting USVI before and are looking forward to coming back. 😎
If anyone can offer better ideas how to get "short" term rentals on the islands please post.

Thanks in advance...:-)

Hi MortenKN,

This sounds intriguing, since I would love to visit your country, however, the problem is it's right in the middle of hurricane season. We would not be comfortable leaving the responsibility of preparing for a major storm to guests. Why have you chosen those dates?

Hi again

Our oldest daughter goes to school so we only have time to visit during the schools summerbreak.
I actually thought that the hurricane season was a bit later. We visited USVI first time in 1989 in November just after Hugo, so I know about hurricane and what can happen...
The Friends of Denmark of USVI is visiting Denmark this year from around July 25 and two weeks more....so If anyone knows of them wanting an extended stay in Denmark that is also a possibility...

Best,
MortenKN
