A very sweet, very thin dog with a hurt back paw/leg wandered into my yard today. He is extremely good natured and gets along with my dogs. However, he is NOT trustworthy with cats. We were going to keep him, but we have three cats ( it was a close call for the cat when he met her, let me put it that way.)

I cannot stress to you how gentle (aside from the cat thing) he is. He is submissive, appears to be about 1 or 2 years old. Probably about 35 lbs. He let me give him a bath, and touch his ears/paws etc. He is polite, and has a few small wounds that I have cleaned. He wants to play with other dogs but his foot injury makes it hard.

If he sounds like a dog that would fit well in your home, please call or text 916-599-9263 tonight or tomorrow morning. I'd love to find a home this way rather than drop him off at the shelter, however I can only keep my cats locked up for so long. I will update this if he ends up at the shelter.

I can email a picture, or send one via tex/picture message.

Also, we decided to not take him to the shelter just yet. I am working with him on the cat thing and will keep calling around.

I put up a flier in my neighborhood when that happened a few months ago, and the owners found me. Maybe try that?
