visiting in Dec, looking for a place to stay & a driver

Hello! I currently live in Arizona and have a job offer on St. Thomas. I'm coming out Dec 6-9 to check things out and I'm looking for a place to stay for a few nights (clean and not too expensive would be great). I'm not planning on renting a car and I'd love to find someone I could hire to drive me around the island and show me things like different neighborhoods I might want to live in, farmers markets, yoga, beach??? I'm pretty open and just want to explore to get a good idea if this move is right for me. My job would be at the district court, on Veterans Dr in Charlotte Amalie, so I'd like to stay close to that area. Thanks so much!
