I am seriously considering movong to St. Croix, and I will be there in the summer to stay for a while to see if I want to live there. Anyone know where I can stay for about $25 or $30 a night, for a week? (somewhere near 'sunny isle shopping center').

Not true, I found a lady that will rent out a room in her home for $30 a night.

If you're willing to camp, you can stay at Mount Victory Camp in your own tent. I paid $30/night about 2 years ago there. You can use their bathroom, shower, and kitchen. It's nowhere near Sunny Isle, though.

Is this a lady that you know? If so, good for you, great deal. If this is a stranger, bring enough $$$ to make other arrangements should it not work out for you. And don't make any deposit until you are on island and actually see the set up.
