Printer just died, would like to buy one that works. On St Croix

I got a "clearance" printer from office max that was a really good deal, since printers are now basically "throw away" devices (IE the money is not made on printers anymore, but the printer ink) I'd look for a new printer.

was just hoping for a cheap temp unit, like from someone leaving, so I have time to look for one with the features I want. Need to do some printing now though and hate to have to bother friends

You won't beat Office Max. Printers are like razors. They sell the printer for dirt cheap with a "starter cartridge" of ink in order to make money on the comeback as you buy more ink.
