I'm a nurse who just recently relocated to the island. I would like to rent a car from a private owner. I have full coverage insurance and references available. Anyone that could help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you have asked around at the hospital. There used to be a PA that arranged that sort of things for the travelers. If I can remember his name, I'll PM you, but it's been a while....

Hi Juanita,
We spoke on the boards a month ors ago. My husband is coming down July 5-11 and needs an inexpensive place to stay for our PMV. Any ideas. Know anyone who would rent there car for cheep as well. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Even though you have full coverage, if you get in a accident the owner of the car will can be sued. And they love to sue down here. Way too many lawyers on our small rock. So anyone that takes you up on this isn't all there, which is why they are probably here. 😉
