I'm looking for advice about purchasing windows on STX - I need to purchase two new Marva windows, but have had no luck in contacting Marva on Puerto Rico, found about 10 different phone numbers online for them, but all are disconnected. I've sent emails to them through their website in both Spanish and English - nothing.

Can anyone on island recommend an equivalent to Marva windows - keeping in mind I do not want to pay $1000 per window to ship here, would prefer to deal with a supplier on island or PR if possible.

Thanks for the help!

I ordered new windows from
http://www.lausell.com/ in Puerto Rico as needed certain sizes and quantities which I could not find on island.
They shipped via Norma H to STT. Both the price of windows and shipping costs I found to be very reasonable.
The windows were good quality and they have a wide selection.

I have used Centerline Corporation, in Frederiksted for all my windows...both standard replacement and also the 60 ft long custom windows that I added to convert my gallery into enclosed rooms.
I found them to be both on time, reliable and also within budget...especially for custom designed windows.
I have gone to Puerto Rico and Miami for windows over the past dozen years or so...and always come back to Centerline!
340-772-0030 is their number

I would strongly recommend that you avoid Centerline Windows at all costs. I currently am in the middle of a several thousand dollar window order from them and after almost six months, all that I have received are the frames.

I have been getting a MAJOR run-around from the owner, Earl.

No excuse for making a customer wait over five months for screens! The lead time was supposed to be 4-5 weeks.

My project is way past deadline and Earl appears to have lost any and all interest in customer service.

I am a true believer in supporting the local business community even when it means spending a little more. All that I ask is that you hold up your end of the bargain.

Centerline windows has now lost a once loyal customer. I will make it a point to share my experience whenever the conversation turns to windows from now on.

We've gotten our best (recent) windows from Valcor in PR. Have a good salesperson, and wound up with pretty good prices. Got windows from the Unijal sucessor company in Fl, Maxi-vue, used to be sold by Whitecliffs on stx though we got them direct from the company, were quite disappointed in them. Also got windows from another PR company, AirMaster, that HD now sells...they were ok but liked the Valcor more, and the customer service etc. Ordered windows from Centerline some time ago, but they were just for garage etc, so were satisfied with the quality etc for the application.
got doors from PGT.
